- Provide high-quality ski or snowboard instruction to guests, focusing on safety, skill development, and enjoyment- Customize lessons based on individual guest needs, incorporating freestyle or big mountain elements as appropriate- Demonstrate advanced technical skills in Freestyle (e.g., park and pipe) or Big Mountain (e.g., off-piste, steep terrain) settings- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages guests to challenge themselves.- Checking in/out with supervisors- Understanding and delivering the snow school on-snow product- Assisting in operational support of resort operations as required- Continually Improving own technical skills to better serve guests- Arriving in a timely manner for your daily lesson, ready to teach- Conducting safe, fun and technical lessons to all ages and abilities- Managing splits in ability levels and a variety of group dynamics- Be polite, patient, understanding, and have a positive attitude- Helping to create amazing guest experiences- Other duties as assigned**Qualifications**:

- Passion for the ski industry and culture- A sense of teamwork and community- Hold the following certifications: CSIA/CASI/PISC Level 2 (or international equivalent)- CAA AST 1 is considered an asset- Additional certifications are considered an asset**Work Experience**:

- Experience teaching in an alpine resort similar to Castle Mountain Resort an asset- Proven experience and proficiency in Freestyle (terrain park, jumps, rails) or Big Mountain (off-piste, steep terrain) environments**Where We Are**:

- Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location. There is a communal living Staff Accommodation building on-site for new and returning non-supervisory, seasonal employees. **Work Conditions**:

- Strong skiing/snowboarding ability- Physically fit and able to instruct in a variety of weather conditions- Comfortable interacting with guests of different ages in a variety of instructing situations**Eligibility Statement**:
