**Job Description**:
Under the responsibility of the Senior Vice-President, Human Resources and Communications, Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for establishing and leading internal and external communications strategies. She/he ensures that communications and actions supporting our social and community involvement are aligned with our values and business objectives.

She/he will develop the strategy and execution of the PSU's annual corporate communications plan, as well as external visibility. A skilled communicator, this person will take part in writing content supporting UAP's strategic plan. She will also be responsible for developing the internal digital strategy and will oversee the new corporate portal in terms of its governance, the deployment of new features and the creation of engaging content. More precisely:
**Corporate Communications (Internal & External)**
- Develop and execute the annual corporate communication plan.
- Contribute to defining an internal communication strategy that will reach all members of the UAP team and that is consistent across all of the company's mediums. Collaborate in writing communications related to our ESG initiatives and national projects.
- Collaborate in the drafting and distribution of internal communications for all employees
- Implement new functionalities or tools allowing employees to access information in an efficient and interactive way.
- Recommend, design and implement external communications strategies that strengthen the company's reputation and coordinate related activities.
- Develop the UAP Inc social media strategy and management of the UAP LinkedIn page in connection with corporate content. Work in collaboration with the marketing teams of the various banners.
- Act as a representative of the company when communicating with the media
- Contribute to the development of external visibility objectives in order to increase the notoriety of UAP

**Intranet Portal**
- Act as owner of the UAP Connect internal communication portal (Lumapps platform)
- Develop an internal digital strategy to drive engagement in our workplace
- Responsible for governance of the platform, improving content so that it is engaging and setting up communities
- Regularly monitor updates and new options available to optimize the platform and the user experience
- In collaboration with the IT team, HRIS, Genuine Parts Company (GPC) plan and deploy improvements and new features of the platform
- Establish a network of content creators, communities and through analytics, target content of interest to UAP team members. Write national content and collaborate on the design and publication of content specific to the various teams
- Train and ‘’engage’’ the community of content creators and system administrators, and employees to expand their knowledge of the system
- Analyze usage data, qualitative and quantitative, to measure impact and establish improvement plans
- Participate in meetings with GPC in order to share and implement global functionalities

**Qualifications**:
To join our team, you must, among other things:

- Possess a university degree in communications, public relations or a related field, combined with 10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications or internal communications roles.
- Be fluently bilingual. It is essential both spoken and written since you will have to collaborate regularly with business colleagues based across Canada and the United States.
