The IT Auditor is responsible for supporting Senior Management and the Audit and Risk Committee in identifying key Technology risks and providing value added recommendations to promote effective IT control and sound business practices via independent risk-based assurance services designed to add value and improve the organization’s IT operations.

You're great at:- Collaboration with IT governance in the updating of process documentation and control descriptions.- Review and update IT audit test plans to ensure key risks are addressed.- Complete testing of IT controls including preparation of working papers outlining test plans, fieldwork and documentation of outcomes.- Responsible for leading IT operational audits to examine the efficiency and effectiveness of processes to mitigate key IT risks as outlined in the Internal Audit Plan in areas such as governance, risk management, infrastructure, security, asset management, cloud environments, third party risk.- Maintain quality of audit processes and documentation in accordance with IPPF.

You have:
- Relevant post-secondary education.- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT auditing.- Completion of CISA certification.- Professional certifications, such as CIA, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.- Strong knowledge of the IPPF and COBIT or similar frameworks.- Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
