Reporting to the WWTP & BioGas Facility Manager, the WWTP & BioGas Operator will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, “Can Do” positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment. This position will be Full term, beginning immediately.
- Shift work (12) hours Days and Nights
- Hourly wage: 26.31/hr
- Daily operation of a Level IV Wastewater Treatment facility on a rotating shift basis.
- Daily operation of a “State of the art” BioGas Facility.
- Daily housekeeping of both plants.
- Daily monitoring of well water and water tanks.
- Laboratory testing for internal use and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting maintenance personnel as required.
- College or University Degree in a science background.
- Wastewater Treatment Certification is considered a strong asset.
- Previous industry experience would be an asset.
- Exposure to laboratory and maintenance environments would be an asset.
- Strong computer skills.
- Clear understanding and dedication to meeting deadlines.
- Clear understanding of Safety standards.
- Ability to analyze and present information effectively and accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
