**Position**: Sales Associate

**Hours**: Full time— 40 hours per week

**Compensation**: $16.75 - $22.00 (per hour) depending on experience plus bonuses

**About Cyclone Taylor Sports**:

**About the position**:
The Sales Asscociate is responsible for helping with the day-to-day operations of the CTS Vancouver retail location. The Sales Associate provides a memorable and exciting shopping experience for customers of all ages, and services a large customer base seeking regular skate sharpening and hockey/lacrosse equipment.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
Education & Experience:

- Hockey background required (player, coach, fan)
- At minimum, completion of secondary school
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

**Skills**:

- Knowledge and passion for ice hockey and/or lacrosse is an asset
- Experience and/or knowledge with skate sharpening is an asset
- Familiarity with point-of-sale system operations
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent customer service
- Organized

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone, including identifying appropriate customer needs
- Assists customers in Hockey and Lacrosse equipment fitting
- Stocking and merchandising of inventory
- Shipping and Receiving
- Cash Handling
- Supports with team sales initiatives
- Assist in skate sharpening for a large customer base
- Other duties as required

**CTS offers a competitive compensation package as well as staff discounts on hockey and/or lacrosse equipment.**

**Salary**: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Day range:

- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Work setting:

- Specialty store

COVID-19 considerations:
Curbside pickup is available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, etc.

**Experience**:

- Hockey playing and/or coaching: 1 year (required)
