We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team at our family-owned, upscale Turkish restaurant in downtown Ottawa. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. **Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled.
- Assist with food handling and service while adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Process transactions through cashiering duties, including handling cash and credit card payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Assist with bartending duties when necessary, ensuring compliance with all beverage service regulations.
- Utilize basic math skills for order calculations and cash handling.
- Manage time effectively to provide prompt service, especially during peak hours.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to help others are essential for this role.
