About Us
Onigiri Shop is a rapidly growing Japanese casual food brand in Montreal, known for its
authentic handmade onigiri and clean, mínimalist brand aesthetic. As we expand to new
locations, we are looking for a talented and experienced Assistant Brand Manager
- Advertising to lead our brand’s marketing strategy, manage our visual identity, and
strengthen our connection with target customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute advertising campaigns across social media, print, and digital channels
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints: packaging, signage, digital presence,
and store layout
- Create and manage content for Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Oversee store displays and in-store visual experience in line with brand standards
- Collaborate with external creatives (e.g., photographers, designers) when needed
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to guide brand positioning and product
promotion
- Develop and implement local store marketing strategies in coordination with managers
- Participate in events such as night markets, food fairs, and industry exhibitions to
promote the brand and boost visibility
- Track and analyze marketing performance data and make recommendations for
optimization
**Requirements**:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, art, communications, graphic design, or a related
field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing, branding, or advertising role
- At least 2 years of experience in hospitality industry
- Strong visual design sensibility and understanding of branding principles
- Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
- Experience managing or creating social media content
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Fluent English or French, Spoken Chinese,
- knowledge of Asian culture is an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
