We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused **Building Manager** for one of our residential properties in Halifax. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills who thrives in tenant relations, leasing, and property cleanliness. You will have access to maintenance and landscaping staff to support larger repairs and outdoor upkeep, allowing you to focus on creating a thriving residential community.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **Leasing & Tenant Relations**: Conduct viewings, respond to inquiries, and manage the leasing process to fill units with ideal tenants. Build positive relationships and address tenant concerns with professionalism and care.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Ensure all common areas, such as the lobby, hallways, laundry rooms, and elevators, are clean, welcoming, and visually appealing.
- **Property Oversight**: Monitor the property for any repair or maintenance needs and communicate with maintenance and landscaping teams for prompt resolution.
- **Administrative Duties**: Handle tasks such as rent collection, tenant communication through our property management software (Buildium), and ensuring lease agreements are properly executed.
- **Coordination with Contractors**: Oversee third-party service providers to ensure work meets company standards.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Strong **leasing and customer service skills**, with a warm and approachable demeanor that helps tenants feel valued.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring the property is always well-maintained.
- A passion for cleanliness and presentation, creating a living space that tenants are proud to call home.
- Experience with property management software is an asset but not required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and tenant care.

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Pay**: Up to $59,000.00 per year
