**Position**:Full-Time Program Instructor (Residential) (Union Position)
**Rate of Pay**: $24.33/hour
**Current Location**:Woodbridge Residential Group Home

**Hours and Days of Work**
Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or degree program in a related field (Developmental Services Worker, Social Service Worker, Community Service Worker, Behavioural Science, Recreation and Leisure)
- At least one (1) year experience working with individuals that have developmental disabilities
- Must have experience dealing with challenging behaviours because of possibility of working with aggressive clients
- Strong written and oral communication as well as problem solving skills
- Must have the ability to work as a team and independently
- Must have a valid G driver’s license
- French language is an asset

**Job Duties**
- To work hands on with individuals that have developmental disabilities and high support in daily needs in a Residential environment
- **This position requires working with female clients. Must be comfortable providing hands-on personal hygiene assistance for the clients.**:

- Responsible for liaison with other professionals and families
- Responsible for paper work, attending meetings and other related duties
- Responsible for developing and implementing curriculum and providing personal health care
- Responsible for transporting clients in company vans to outings and to/from programs
- Provide support in daily living as needed

- DCS / DEC (preferred)
