Landscape Maintenance Worker

**This job will be located in Tottenham, ON**

Strategic Work:

- Collecting data on site visits and work performed.
- Monitoring and reporting on equipment and vehicle conditions.
- Researching and recommending equipment replacements or upgrades.
- Training employees to carry out tasks at maximum efficiency.
- Reporting on employees and discussing team alterations or changes.
- Planning and executing service routes, calendar, and schedules.

Tactical Work:

- Driving a pick-up truck and possibly towing a trailer.
- Operating Zero-Turn lawn mower.
- Lawn mowing and trimming.
- De-weeding.
- Leaf collection.
- Hard surface debris clearing.
- Planting.
- Material handling and grading.
- Snow clearing.
- Anti-Icing and/or salting hard surfaces.

- Safety of all in the work area is top priority.
- All tasks to be completed to the best of your abilities.
- All work to be completed in the most efficient manner possible.
- Equipment to be used with care and responsibility.
- Vehicles, trailers, and equipment must be kept clean and presentable.
- All communication to be conducted in a professional manner.
- All phone calls must be returned within 2 hours.
- Must be available for work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- Additional weekend hours as per scheduled by employer if required.
- Must be available, during the winter, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, as the weather dictates.
- Company dress code to be followed at all times.
- No smoking of any kind on customer’s properties or within company assets.
- Sobriety during work hours is a must.
- Any issues that cannot be resolved or deadlines that cannot be met, within a reasonable time frame and before the deadline has passed, must be communicated to company management.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
