**About the Position**:
We are seeking an experienced Global Health and Safety Manager to lead our efforts in developing, implementing and maintaining health and safety programs across our offices globally. This role involves strategic planning, compliance oversight, and proactive risk management tailored to a dynamic and geographically diverse organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute health and safety policies and programs that align with local regulations.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to continuously improve workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all regions.
- Develop key safety indicators and performance measures for incident safety protocols.
- Analyze trends emerging from accident and incident reports to identify systematic issues and address root causes.
- Stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations to ensure practices and standards follow regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Prepare Annual and quarterly Board reports on Health and Safety issues, initiatives, emerging matters that will impact RWDI.
- Work in close partnership with operations and facilities to provide safety and health practices in the work place.
- Support of Americas Region Occupational Health and Safety Program
- Liaise with external Health and Safety agencies (MOL, MOE, WSPS etc.) on RWDI’s behalf to advance health and safety compliance and preventative policy development.
- Design and deliver Health and Safety Communication and training programs for RWDI staff.
- Provide oversight and guidance to JHSC.
- Act as a consultant to management on operational matters where OHS related issues arise and in circumstances where employees are not compliant with RWDI practices.
- Post-secondary education in Health & Safety or related field.
- 3 -5 years in Health & Safety Management.
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or similar designation preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations for North America (Canada/USA).
- Investigate and report on incidents/accidents of a critical nature to Executive through the Corporate VP and when required responds to any MOL orders on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensure effective and efficient allocation of financial and physical resources within the Health and Safety portfolio; Monitors, analyzes and optimizes financial performance.
- Manage full cycle budgeting (forecasting, budget development, analysis and reporting) for Health and Safety operations and initiatives.
- Ensure continual improvement of the OHS management system with regular review of OHS Policy, Procedures and Standards.
- Ensure Policies are kept current, or that regional leads are keeping current, as per relevant legislation and guideline changes.
- Ensure effective communication of new/or updated policies to the RWDI staff.What We Offer:
