**Company Description**
- A basic understanding of the logistics industry.
- Experience within the recruitment field.
- The ability to oversee the entire recruitment process independently.
The main tasks associated with this position include:
- Attend job fairs and participate in other activities to generate and identify potential applicants.
- Creating job descriptions and online postings.
- Completing the various administrative tasks associated with driver recruitment including collecting documentation, vetting submissions, conducting criminal background checks, verifying work history, etc.
- Ensure detailed and accurate documentation is created and kept in an organized manner.
- Participate in all onboarding activities including contract processing, training, benefits enrollment, database enrollment, etc.
- Work closely with other departments such as Safety and Accounting to ensure new hires are successfully incorporated into the organization.
- The ability to work both in the office and remotely (Hybrid Format).
- Other Human Resources related tasks as assigned.
- Report directly to the Human Resources Manager.
- Other tasks as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Experience**: This individual must have at least 2 years of recruitment experience. Any experience within the transportation industry would be considered an asset.
**Education**: Highschool required. A university/college degree in business/human resources or related field is considered an asset.
**Skills**:
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit successfully.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Self-Motivated, ambitious and results driven.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
