The Insignia Hotel Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is situated in the quaint town of Sarnia in Ontario, Canada. The hotel was built in the ‘60’s and was the pride of the community. In 2018, the hotel was transformed into the luxurious boutique hotel that it is known as today. The Insignia Hotel is a pet-friendly hotel in Sarnia and features 84 rooms and premium meeting and event space, fitness center, and indoor pool.

When a guest walks into any of our rooms - imagine that first look around they take. Followed by that sigh of relief because they’ve arrived to their home away from home, be it for a night or a week, and it’s perfect. Everything is exactly in its place.

Crisp, pressed linens. Perfectly placed pillows. A sparkling mirror. Every detail adding up to an experience our guests feel great about because they know they’re in good hands while staying with us. **What you’ll do**
- Efficiently clean rooms as per assignment sheet
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Make beds and fold sheets
- Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
- Greet guests and take care of requests
- Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
- Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum & mop guest rooms
- Clean public areas in the hotel, if needed.
- Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities, services, and hours.
- Carry out any reasonable request by Management.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Open availability
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written in English, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
