**Junior Project Manager**

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Jr. Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of resources, meetings, and information. They will support the Project manager to organize projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within the allocated budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for project administration and daily operations. Prepares and maintains the project schedule, milestone dates, commissioning, and close-out checklists.
- Schedule site security/amenities, subcontractors, equipment delivery, utility interconnections, and services in accordance with pre-determined construction schedule.
- Provide logístical support for installation crews including scheduling of accommodations and travel.
- Schedule deliveries of supplies and assets.
- Track project key performance indicators (schedule, cost, quality, scope) and with the Project Manager, provide inputs/corrective action to ensure progress is according to plan.
- Data entry into Project management software.
- Ensure compliance with approved site safety plan (SSP).
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the project Owner and other stakeholders based on contractor reports and firsthand observation of the project progress.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks, inspections, and audits where required

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Communication: Must always employ professional verbal and written communication

- Self Control: Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
- Organization: Job requires masterful organization and the ability to keep the department in an orderly state.
- Problem Solving: Job requires creative solutions to unique problems as they arise.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years or more of progressive experience in project-related positions
- Valid class 5 driver’s licence
- Must be able to create and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members
- Travel with overnight stays up to 90% of the time.
- Must be adept at multitasking. Required to perform a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis.
- Superior computer skills. Familiarity with MS Project and/or Procore is preferred.
