**About the Position**:
We are seeking a highly skilled **Health and Safety Coordinator **to join our Edmonton office immediately. This position is an office-based position.

The key duties of this position include:

- Administrative support to our HSE manager and Site Safety Advisor
- Aiding in program development
- Visits to our shops to ensure all safety regulations are being met
- Assist HSE Manager with Site/Shop WCB Claims Management process
- Overseeing administration of the company safety program, including tracking certifications, scheduling training and maintaining safety records
- Participate in and conducting safety meetings for our shop facilities ensuring accurate meeting minutes are recorded
- Oversee WCB reporting, liaise with WCB staff, injury and claim management in all Western provinces
- Have a regular and visible HSE presence in our production facilities - participating and documenting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions
- Schedule and perform annual safety audits for our production facilities.
- Safety-related training from MHSA, ACSA or accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of relevant health and safety experience
- Possess a valid Class 5 drivers license with and a vehicle - must be willing to travel to our local facilities when needed
- Has a strong working knowledge of Alberta and BC OH&S Legislation, WCB Legislation and Work Safe BC
- Must have awareness of transportation guidelines
- Excellent team player and safety is your number one priority
- Possess CSTS, WHMIS - 2015, Standard First Aid
