We are seeking a dependable and energetic person to join our team in the role of Accessible Vehicle Delivery Driver. The Accessible Vehicle Delivery Driver will be required to safely and effectively operate a 3/4t truck and trailer combination for vehicle deliveries throughout all the Canadian Provinces. This position requires long hours of long distance driving and being able to hand off the vehicle in a professional way to our customers. Being the last point of contact, you will be the face of our company to the end users so a high level of Professional character will be import in this role along with the ability to handle pressure and dealing with eventualities as they come up relating to the transportation role. **Who You Are**: - Accountable - Trustworthy - Love to help people - Like being kept busy - Eager to learn and not afraid to fail - Have a great mechanical aptitude - Have a "Can do" attitude - Enjoys working with others - A team player **What you'll be doing**: - Safely load and unload vehicles - Be responsible for safe securement of loads at all times - Deliver vehicles to their destination on time. - Manage a schedule of vehicle deliveries - Have good communication with customers. - Hand off to MoveMobilities customer and go over the vehicle operation. - Keep the vehicle clean and organized. - Be responsible for vehicle and trailer maintenance - Always be on time. - Deliver vehicles to specified locations throughout all of Canada without causing damage. - Recognize unsafe situations and take precautions. - Be ok with driving long hours - Be ok with driving to all Provinces in Canada - Be ok with being away from home for long periods of time. - As a secondary role assist in shop assembling vehicles when transportation is not required or weather condition dictate unsafe travel. **Who we're looking for**: - 5+ years of experience in Truck Driving including pulling trailers. - Forklift Operation - Proven ability to safely load and unload vehicles from trailers. - Strong problem solving skills and a constant drive to improve - Ability to handle a full workload while in a fast paced environment with conflicting demands and tight deadlines - Intrinsically motivated and able to work independently effectively **Wages** **& Pay**: - _Base salary plus kilometer driven supplemental pay._ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Disability insurance - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - Vision care Schedule: - 10 hour shift COVID-19 considerations: COVID-19 considerations: All team members to wear masks when in common areas or away from their work space increased sanitation. **Experience**: - delivery driving: 5 years (required)
