Metal Worker

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to create metal components.
- Operate and maintain various machines including press brake machines, milling machines, and laser cutting equipment.
- Utilize plasma cutting techniques for precise metal shaping.
- Assemble metal parts and components using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with press brake machines, laser cutting, milling machines, and plasma cutting is highly desirable.
- Ability to program machinery for specific tasks when necessary.
- Competence in using hand tools effectively for assembly tasks.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
