As an Automotive Fixed Ops Manager, you will be responsible for interacting with customers and service advisors and helping them with their automotive service needs. This includes scheduling appointments, explaining repair, suggesting upgrades and maintenance options, and providing estimates for service, parts, accessories and repair work. You will also be responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. Overseeing work orders, monitoring customer service levels, ensuring highest customer service standards, increasing gross margins and service and parts productivity and efficiency.

- Forecasts goals and objectives for the departments and strives to meet them.
- Hires, trains, motivates and monitors the performance of the service and parts department managers.
- Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service and parts departments.
- Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the manufacturer.
- Attends managers meetings.
- Monitors the performance of the service and parts departments.
- Strives for harmony and teamwork within the departments and with all other departments.
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with union, local and provincial regulations that affect repair operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, work safe, and other requirements
- Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Holds weekly department meetings.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Fosters professional employee development and coordinates with department managers to determine need for advanced training.
- Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- Makes customer satisfaction a department priority, ensuring that service and parts personnel are courteous and respectful in their interaction with customers.
- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership’s guidelines.
- Administers warranty claims, reviews warranty policy adjustments, understands and applies warranty guidelines, ensures correct processing of claims, and communicates warranty information and clarifications to customers.
- Develops dealership service and parts pricing plans and recommends to dealer or general management.
- Works with parts and service managers to find ways to improve the overall profitability of the dealership.
- Keeps abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommends purchases.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with vocational and technical schools to enhance personnel recruitment activities.
- Serves as liaison with factory representatives.
- Maintains safe work environment.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.

**As part of our team, your duties will include ensuring service and parts team fulfill all roles below**:

- Provide excellent customer service to wholesale and walk in customers
- Billing and picking parts for service orders and technicians when requested
- Maintaining and monitoring parts inventory to ensure quantities and stocking levels are accurate
- Issuing credits on applicable returns from wholesale and retail customers
- Receiving payments from wholesale and retail customers
- Maintaining department cleanliness ie returning cores and warranty items to Chrysler
- Minimum 2-years worth of experience in a Parts & Service roles within a dealership or automotive supplier
- Experience with Chrysler brand an asset
- Superior customer service abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driven to succeed, self-starter, with a strong work ethic.
- Strong computer skills (including MS Office suite); experience with PBS and Collision link and multipoint an asset.
- Valid BC Driver’s License, with a clean driver’s abstract.

**Compensation**:

- Full time position Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
- Extended health

**Salary**: From $4,000.00 per month
