**About the Role**

The Buyer is assigned to manufacturing projects to support activities related to our growing manufacturing capabilities. The Buyer is also contributing to MRO purchases.

**Objectives**
- Lead purchasing activities to support manufacturing projects
- Perform purchasing activities for MRO operations

**Key Responsabilities**

Manufacturing Projects
- Build procurement plan to meet projects requirements in cost, quality and lead-time;
- Source vendors and negotiate terms;
- Collaborate with other departments to meet goals.

MRO Purchasing
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensure follow-ups with vendors and keep the information up-to-date in the ERP system;
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, improve costs, quality and lead-times;
- Regularly update pricing for parts and materials list.

**Your ideal background**
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or any other relevant combination of training and experience;
- Minimum five (5) years of purchasing experience in the aerospace industry;
- Experience in building and managing procurement schedule for manufacturing;
- Thorough and detail oriented;
- Relevant MRO experience is an asset;
- Proficient with Quantum software, or other ERP systems;
- Proficient with MS Office 365.
- Bilingual (French and English*).
- The position requires a very good knowledge of English, both oral and written. The position involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, especially from international companies, as well as regular communication with customers, suppliers and other international stakeholders._
