**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Record and collect payments for customer purchases, ensuring accuracy in handling cash, debit/credit card transactions, and receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and providing product recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cashier area.
- Follow store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.
- Assist in other store duties as required, including stocking shelves and general customer support.
- Work effectively with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and store policies to assist customers with their purchases.

**Qualifications**:

- Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience**: Previous retail or cashier experience is an asset, but not required.
- Skills**: Strong math skills and attention to detail for processing transactions.
- Ability to handle cash and balance a cash register.
- Comfortable working with retail software and POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Must be dependable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

**Working Conditions**
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a retail environment with a high volume of customers.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
