Toronto, Canada Neovate Solutions Inc Full time

Neovate Solutions Inc. is currently hiring for a contract CAD Draftsman to work out of Toronto (GTA area), Canada. The CAD Draftsman is responsible for design of CAD shop drawings from customer orders for fabrication and manufacturing.

Essential Duties:

- Perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading CAD models.
- Drafting and implementing destructive test procedures (pipe supports) which follow MSS SP-58 guidelines.
- Design and fabrication of shop testing rigs and/or fixtures.
- Utilize and work with piping systems and drawing to design and analyze pipe support.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
- Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Days/Shift:

- Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm (EST)
- Previous experience with pipe supports, pipe support take offs, and/or wastewater projects a plus
- Detail oriented by nature. Must be able to visualize parts in 3D by looking at 2D drawings.
- A technical degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CAD drafting and product planning.
- Expert in AutoCAD software. Mathematics skills - Algebra, Geometry
- Strong analytical, design, and concept skills.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability prioritize, plan, organize, and control work flow in a team environment.
- Must be able to work accurately under time pressures, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
