Visual Merchandising Specialist

**VISUAL MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST**

**Winnipeg Based; Hybrid Work Model**
***Bootlegger is looking for a Visual Merchandising Specialist to create our in-store visual presentation for our stores across Canada. As Visual Merchandising Specialist you will be responsible for managing the overall merchandising of products for stores by creating planograms based on assortment plans, new product and seasonal sets. You will maximize sales opportunities and ensure consistency across all stores.
- Supporting the creation of regular visual directives and any additional visual directions given corporately through graphic communications including new season visuals, refresh visuals, promotional visual direction, etc.
- Utilizing graphic design skills to develop and prepare visual directive communications; efficiently and confidently uses Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to prepare visual directions for our store teams
- Photographing Bootlegger product for use in visual directives to ensure clear understanding of directives by store teams
- Communicating to store teams with regards to new or test product and providing clear directions for in-store placement
- Develops visual standards and guidelines that consider aesthetics as well as store team member and budget restrictions
- Upholding Bootlegger’s visual merchandising standards and guidelines
- Assisting and advising our store teams in the execution of corporate visual directives
- Collaborating with our store operations team, merchandising team, and other support teams to ensure the timely delivery of visual directives to stores
- Participating in new store, or relocated store, openings; working alongside and guiding store teams in visual merchandising execution
- Assists in the creation and delivery of visual merchandising workshops to increase the confidence of store team members in visual presentation

Bootlegger is looking for an individual who;
- Has at least 3 years’ experience in a corporate visual merchandising role in the clothing retail industry
- Loves organizing and coordinating; has great time management skills, is proactive, and enjoys administrative responsibilities
- Is confident in the use of computers; is familiar with Microsoft Office programs and Outlook
- Has experience with Graphic Design software; is an intermediate user of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Has basic to intermediate photography skills
- Is a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Is able to participate in store visual merchandising execution; is comfortable working on ladders and can lift and carry 50lbs
- Related post-secondary education is an asset
