**SEEKING A PART-TIME VOLUNTEER CLIENT LIAISON**

**Who we are**:
The Multi-Service Centre (MSC) is a non-profit organization serving the tri-counties area of Oxford, Elgin and Norfolk and focusing on delivering essential services to our community. Staff and management provide high quality, client driven care programs including Adult Literacy & Essential Skills, Employment Programs and Home Support services

**Who we are looking for**:
We are seeking volunteers who are passionate about giving back to their community and enjoy helping seniors live independently in their home.

**As a Client Liaison Volunteer at the MSC**:

- Review the client's journey, assess the support provided, and employ a consultative approach to assist clients in addressing challenges and attaining their goals.
- Collaborate, problem solve, and/ or strategize with team members to help remove barriers for clients and advocate for their needs.
- Document feedback and meeting notes in detail to the Home Support Coordinators responsible for that specific client.
- Provide a positive and professional image while upholding the MSC’s established Policies, Procedures, Mission and Vision and maintain appropriate confidentiality of all information as required by the MSC’s Policies, Procedures and Program Practices

**Experience/Education/Training**:

- Education and experience as a Social Worker or Personal Support Worker/Developmental Services Worker is an asset
- Experience and knowledge of Indigenous culture is an asset
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
- Previous experience working in a home care setting would be an asset
