**Job Overview**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety craft cocktails, tasting flights and beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will also be educating and tasting patrons on our in house spirits made and sold at the distillery. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to promote a safe drinking environment.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and assistance in selecting drinks and spirits that suit their tastes.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices are adhered to.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed, and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in bartending with an emphasis on high end cocktails is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential. SERVING RIGHT is mandatory, FOODSAFE (or equivalent) is a bonus
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Ability to operate POS systems effectively, ensuring smooth transaction processes.
- A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to foster positive interactions with customers.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
