**Position Available: Buyer**

**Location: Vancouver, British Columbia**

Reporting to the **Senior Manager, FP&A and Planning**, we are seeking a creative and enthusiastic **Buyer** who will play a versatile and impactful role in driving product performance, optimizing inventory levels, and executing purchasing and merchandising strategies. This position bridges the gap between strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring our products are thoughtfully sourced, effectively allocated, and perfectly positioned to meet customer demand while supporting business growth.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Collaborate with the logistics, production, supply chain, and other operational department teams to develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with demand forecasts and sales goals.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, trends, and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock allocation across showrooms, warehouses, and online channels.
- Issue and manage purchase orders with suppliers, tracking deliveries and resolving any issues to maintain seamless operations.
- Conduct inventory planning and replenishment to avoid overstock or stockouts, while balancing operational efficiency.
- Support merchandising initiatives by analyzing sales data and recommending product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional plans.
- Maintain and improve forecasting tools, reporting dashboards, and workflows to enhance decision-making and performance tracking.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sell-through rates, turnover, and profitability, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to influence buying and merchandising strategies.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a Buyer, Planner, Allocator, or similar role, ideally in retail or e-commerce.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, with experience in building models and analyzing large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving results.
