Job Title: Busser (Part-Time)

Location: Sophia & Spritz

Shift: Up to 3 -4 shifts per week (Approx. 3-4 hours per shift, depending on business needs)

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist servers and bartenders in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring tables are cleaned, organized, and ready for the next guest.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area, including stocking shelves, filling ice, replenishing bottles, and ensuring glassware is polished and ready for use.
- Perform shift duties such as setting and resetting tables, polishing cutlery and glassware, and preparing the dining room for service.
- Learn the basics of food and beverage service, including supporting the bar team in making cocktails and assisting with food running during busy periods.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of guests, providing attentive service and helping to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining a tidy and organized environment.
- Learn the ins and outs of the restaurant industry, from understanding basic food knowledge to supporting various team members, as part of a professional and well-structured team.

Skills and Qualifications:

- No prior experience required, but we're looking for someone energetic, hardworking, and eager to learn.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting moderate weight (e.g., trays, boxes of glassware).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and attentive to details.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential—arriving on time and ready to work each shift.
- Bilingual (English and French) is a bonus but not a requirement.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to take direction well.
