**Clinical Research Coordinator Position**

**Jewish General Hospital-Lady Davis Institute**

**Functions**:
Ø Takes knowledge of the protocol and gets familiar with all the different vendors of each clinical trial

Ø Prepares a checklist for all the vendors and their links, for each clinical trial.

Ø Prepares source documents.

Ø Verifies eligibility of the participants for research trials identified by the investigator.

Ø Ensures that the timing of all assessments and submissions required per protocol are respected.

Ø Ensures that all test results are available, verified and signed by the PI prior to the randomization, the treatment start date as well as prior to data entry.

Ø Plans patient treatment starts date and coordinates appointments with clinical staff and departments.

Ø Does the kit allocation.

Ø Coordinates subsequent treatment with pharmacy and nursing departments after reviewing patient’s status with the assigned nurse.

Ø Informs the physician of any action required by protocol regarding side effects, dose modification or tumor response documentation.

Ø Reports serious adverse event to the sponsor and the JCRP office.

Ø Completes data entries within 10 business days, prepares and books monitoring visits.

Ø Resolves monitors findings and answers all outstanding queries

Ø Reviews and complete regulatory and ethics binder

Ø Coordinates the submission of all documents requiring REB approval. These include initial protocol packages (initial and amendments), consent forms, investigator brochures, revisions, annual renewals and data safety reports.

Ø Revises consent forms, prepares correspondence to the sponsors for REB-approved documents, distributes REB-approved documents and responds to queries regarding REB-related issues.

Ø Ensures submission of NCI US renewals each year.

**Qualifications**:
Ø Bilingual: French and English.

Ø Good knowledge of office software.

Ø Medical background and experience in research are an asset

Rigor, precision, autonomy, initiative, a sense of responsibility, great organizational skills, and the ability to manage several files at the same time are desirablequalities.

**Status and Benefits**:
Ø Day shift Monday to Friday, full time position.

Ø Salary and benefits according to LDI scales and policies.
