**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct inspections, installations, and repairs on various structures and equipment using rope access methods;
- Utilize hand tools for mechanical tasks and routine maintenance;
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines while maintaining high safety standards;
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols during operations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE);
- Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors;
- Supervising rope access technicians to ensure you and your team are working safely and effectively;
- Teaching other rope access technicians to grow and enhance their rope access skills;
- Leading project operations and safety meetings;
- Oversee project execution, manage resources effectively, and maintain budget adherence to meet client expectations;
- Maintaining, assembling, and inspecting tools and equipment required at your work sites;
- Verifying the work hours of the technicians in your team;
- Communicate effectively with customers and managers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction;

**Requirements**:

- Level 3 IRATA or SPRAT
- Not afraid of heights and able to work on ladders and suspended stages
- Enthusiasm and decent work attitude
- Valid BC driver’s license is an asset, but not required
- Must be able to work while suspended in harness for extended periods of time
- Be capable of functioning in climatic extremes
- Construction industry experience, general labour experience, and / or job site supervisor experience is an asset

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- technician: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- IRATA and/or SPRAT certification (required)
