**Position Summary**:
The Automotive & Heavy-Duty Parts Technician is responsible for assisting customers with parts inquiries, sourcing and identifying the correct components, ensuring efficient order processing, restocking shelves and more. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify, source, and recommend appropriate automotive and heavy-duty parts based on customer needs.
- Assist with inventory control, including stocking, labeling, organizing, and cycle counts.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Research parts using catalogs, online systems, and internal databases.
- Support store operations by helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
- Stay current with product knowledge, new technologies, and industry trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in automotive or heavy-duty parts is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems, heavy-duty components, and related terminology.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with computers, point-of-sale systems, and online parts lookup tools.
- Valid driver’s license: ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
