Barrie, Canada NSI Distribution Full time

**NSI Distribution**, a Canadian leading distributor in CCTV, Security, Audio, Home Automation, Low-Voltage Wire/Cable, and IT products, is seeking self-motivated, driven **Technical Sales Representatives** to join the team at our **Barrie **and **Edmonton **offices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess customers’ needs, recommend or assist in the selection of appropriate products, and negotiate prices or other sales terms
- Maintain and grow sales relationships with new and existing customers
- Troubleshoot technical problems over the phone, in person, or through remote desktop services
- Develop and maintain technical product knowledge to explain features or complex information to customers in a way that is easily understandable, and answer questions
- Keep customers informed about new technological products
- Use knowledge and training to help customers
- Connect with customers after sale to provide ongoing support
- Resolve product and service relate issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- No sales experience necessary. Training will be provided
- Previous experience in the security industry is preferred
- Strong technical and networking knowledge with IP cameras is a bonus
- Good understanding of IT products
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to interact with people using tact and diplomacy
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal skills such as active listening, empathy and patience
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Education or experience in IT, computer science, sales, or marketing is an asset
