Opened in 1983, the Georgian Court Hotel is one of Vancouver’s most storied landmarks and has been a perennial favourite amongst guests who seek the boutique experience. This 4 star property, renovated in May 2017, features spacious and contemporary guestrooms including the Ladies' preferred Orchid Floor, with special amenities that provide more comfort and convenience for female travelers.

**Position Title**: Room Attendant

**Department**:Housekeeping

**Hours of Work**: Day Time

**The key responsibilities of the House Attendant include but are not limited to**:

- Clean all assigned guestrooms including: dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies.
- Sign in and out master keys daily
- Must meet performance standards on room inspection checklist; offers all assistance possible to guests.
- Maintains and reports defective equipment; maintains and keeps linen closet and cart well-supplied.
- Checks for and turns in all Lost and Found items;
- Reports damage or losses to maintenance or housekeeping.
- Update and record all cleaned rooms
- Removes Room Service trays from hallways.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

**Physical Aspects of Position**:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following: Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
