**Sales Representative - Fasteners & Air Filtration**
**Location**: Vancouver Island, BC
**Reports To**: General Manager
**Type**: Full-Time

**Overview**

We’re looking for a driven and personable Sales Representative to help grow two well-established, locally owned businesses:

- **Island Fasteners Ltd.** - A supplier of construction fasteners, tools, and repair services.
- **CMT Environment Controls** - A manufacturer of residential and wind energy air filters, sold primarily through local resellers.

This is a sales-first role focused on building new customer relationships, supporting repeat buyers, and making sure products get where they need to go. If you’re motivated, outgoing, and eager to help two small companies grow, we’d love to talk.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

**Island Fasteners**
- Introduce our products and services to framers, renovators, siding crews, and other trades
- Promote fastener bulk deals and tool repair support
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through site visits and follow-ups
- Support delivery coordination and confirm order satisfaction

**CMT Environment Controls**
- Promote our air filters to hardware stores, HVAC shops, and other potential resellers
- Onboard new resellers and help them place initial and repeat orders
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Follow up to confirm satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.

**What You Bring**
- Great communication skills and a friendly, approachable style
- Comfort speaking to tradespeople and small business owners
- Strong follow-through and the ability to stay organized
- Sales experience is an asset, but attitude matters most
- Valid BC driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

**Compensation & Perks**
- **Base Salary**: $50,000-$60,000 (depending on experience)
- **Commission - Island Fasteners**: 4% of gross margin on new or growing accounts
- **Commission - CMT Filters**: 6% of gross sales on residential filters sold through resellers
- **Bonuses**: Two tiers available based on sales milestones for Island Fasteners and CMT resellers.
- **Fuel & Mileage**: Reimbursed during ramp-up while using a personal vehicle
- **Company Vehicle**: May be assigned later based on growth and trust
- **Benefits**: Extended health and dental after a 6-month probationary period

**Schedule & Location**
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
- Based at Island Fasteners with frequent travel across Vancouver Island
- In-person team check-ins and ongoing training/support included

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
