Our General Merchandise Manager is ultimately responsible for the product available in Ricki’s stores and online; strategically developing and delivering product assortments that reflect the wants of our customers and the overall objectives of our business. As General Merchandise Manager (GMM) you will be responsible for; - Leading our team of merchandising professionals, fostering an environment consistent with Ricki’s culture and values, and providing the support the team needs to achieve great results - Managing a product assortment that will meet the needs and wants of our customers to achieve a fashion forward casual look at a price that doesn’t break the budget - Forecasting financial performance for the department and setting targets; reviewing sales, stock levels, and margins against plan and initiating actions to drive sales and gross profit - Ensuring that pricing, promotional strategies, and marketing support company objectives; is comfortable developing sales promotions to effectively turn inventory according to sales goals - Maintaining positive relationships with existing vendors and identifying new sources both domestically and internationally - Collaborating with store operations, marketing, and other support teams to accomplish our corporate goals - Maintaining contact with their peer group, sister divisions and affiliated groups, contributing to expertise in product, trend and supplier information Ricki’s is looking for an individual who; - Has experience in senior roles with a merchandising or buying focus and experience leading merchandising professionals - Has a proven history of success in growing and supporting their business and their teams - Has an entrepreneurial drive, strong business acumen, and strategic competency - Is a strong negotiator with solid analytical skills - Is independent and self-motivated - Holds sensibility in regards to fashion, merchandising, and customer needs - Is able to travel (domestically and internationally) frequently - Has the experience, capacity and self-initiative to "hit the ground running" - Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; embodies Ricki’s core values COME WORK WHERE YOU LOVE TO SHOP Have passion for fashion?
