Norbel Metal Service has been in business since 1967. We are a family-oriented, steel processing facility, servicing our valued customers. At Norbel Metal we have over 120,000 sq/ft of warehouse space in Etobicoke, providing us with a central location to all of our customers across Southern Ontario.

We are looking for someone who enjoys learning, is team-oriented, and comfortable reading and using an imperial tape measure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily inspections of the CTL machine at the beginning of each shift
- Assist line operators in running the production line
- Use various machine controls to set up, level, and cut steel sheets
- Use lifting equipment to move the correct material to the production line for each scheduled order
- Package skids of steel sheets according to order specifications
- Participate in daily housekeeping to keep the work area clean and safe
- Work in a safe manner at all times, adhering to company policies

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing experience (Steel manufacturing is an asset)
- Must be able to read imperial/metric measuring tape
- Good verbal communication skills
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Overhead Crane experience is an asset
- Be a team player and able to work well with others on the job
