We're looking for skilled _**Pipelayers **_to join our team that share our passion for people and our core values.

You’ve probably been around the excavating industry for a few years, perhaps you’d like to move your career forward a notch by becoming a key team member on a crew at a family-owned business. Maybe you’ve been looking for a chance to show your skills at installing underground utilities. Here’s your chance

**Key Qualifications**
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience preparing and installing underground pipelines for drain, water, sewer, hydro, telephone, etc.
- Valid BC Drivers’ license.

**Key Duties**
- Installs water, sanitary sewer, storm water, and Hydro/Telephone/Cable pipes, structures and pipe systems.
- Lays out pipe routes, following specifications or civil plans.
- Checks slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
- Cuts pipes to required lengths, positions and aligns pipes during pipeline construction and prepares them for fusing or installation.
- Connects pipe pieces and seal joints using fusing equipment, cement, glue or pipe soap.
- Grades and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools.

**Salary**: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
