We are currently hiring Part Time Tearistas at our Chatime Vancouver - UBC location **Responsibilities and Duties**: - Provide exceptional guest experiences for all our patrons one drink at a time - Prepare Craft Tea beverages, prepare toppings, and package food for customers - Operate the Point of Sales (POS) and safely handle cash - Maintain safe and healthy work environments by following company standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Be a dynamic leader and brand ambassador for our Chatime Location - Maintain bar inventory by replenishing stock when needed - Maintain a consistently clean and well-maintained sales floor and stockroom - Adhere to all the cleaning protocols for all operations in store - Looking to maintain long term employment after summer season. **Requirements**: - Excellent communication skills - Outgoing personality that is focused on our guests and customer service - Willingness to learn - Positive team player - Flexible schedule, open availability(weekday/evening availability perferred), able to commit 2-3 shifts a week - Ability to work standing, occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. and carry items as required - At least 1 year of proven successful retail, customer service, and/or hospitality experience will be an asset, but not a requirement. - FoodSafe certification is an asset but not mandatory **Benefits**: - A fun dynamic work environment - Comprehensive, methodical training - Complimentary hand crafted, signature drinks while on shift - Upward mobility and growth for future leadership positions **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $15.65 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Discounted or free food - Flexible schedule Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evenings - Evening shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Night shift - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Tips COVID-19 considerations: To keep our staff safe, we have a protective shields for our cashier and we provide face masks each day to our team.
