**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This role will be in the heart of Apres and Events The main focus of this role is to assist with the facilitation of the set-up and smooth efficient operation of in-house social/special events.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Interact and converse with members, guests and other employees in a friendly, courteous and co-operative manner. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards members, guests and other employees.
- Assist with the clean-up and maintenance of the Clubhouse and/or Lodge.
- Maintain fires in woodstoves and fireplaces. Fires to be monitored throughout the day and put out at the end of the day.
- Assist events coordinator with set up/take down of special events in Club lodges, e.g. placement of tables/chairs, signage, decorations, etc.
- Assist Catering staff when required.
- Support special events in Club lodges.
- Support the sound system, microphones, television and remotes at all times.
- Keep lodge fire exits clear and accessible.
- Lock up lodge at the end of the evening.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Hospitality experience would be an asset.
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding activities e.g., furniture moving, up and down stairs, standing for long periods of time.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess professional maturity and impeccable integrity.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: From $19.10 per hour
