Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate all piping installation activities across assigned industrial construction projects, including ASU installations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction leads to ensure project milestones are met.
- Interpret and review piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications to plan and monitor work.
- Oversee subcontractors and piping crews, ensuring adherence to safety standards, codes, and quality requirements.
- Support and enforce compliance with provincial and federal regulations, including Alberta Building Code and OH&S standards.
- Track material deliveries, monitor piping fabrication, and coordinate site logistics with supply chain teams.
- Conduct regular field inspections to verify progress and workmanship against project requirements.
- Identify and resolve potential field issues, escalating complex challenges to project management as needed.
- Participate in QA/QC processes and support system walk-downs, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and foster a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of relevant experience in piping coordination within industrial construction environments.
- Hands-on experience with the installation of Air Separation Units or similar process facilities is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, fabrication techniques, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, CSA).
- Familiarity with construction management systems and field documentation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar) is a plus.
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid) and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and available for site-based work in Edmonton and surrounding areas.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $120.00-$130.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
