Located in Langley, the heart of the Fraser Valley, Willowbrook Shopping Center is a vibrant lifestyle-oriented retail destination, easily accessible from a number of major traffic arteries. This location features a lively bar and lounge area, dining room, and year-round roof top patio.

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in our kitchen. The Prep Cook will perform basic cooking duties, follow recipes, and help in preparing high-quality meals.

Is passionate about all things culinary.
Has previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Has a strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food preparation and ability to follow recipes and standards.
Works well in a team environment and communicates effectively.
Has strong organizational and time-management skills.
Follows proper food handling and sanitation regulations

**Duties**:
Prepare ingredients for recipes and cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items.
Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate and prepared timely.
Help with receiving and storing kitchen supplies.

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
Previous experience as a Prep Cook is considered an asset.
