- Assist with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll.
- Ensure timesheets and attendance records are collected, reviewed, and submitted accurately and on time.
- Track employee vacation, sick time, and other leave balances via our HRIS System.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and statutory deductions.
- Support job postings and advertising across various platforms in an administrative function.
- Schedule interviews between applicants and hiring managers.
- Assist with employment letters, reference checks, and pre-employment administrative documentation.
- Maintain HR records and personnel files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Track and support safety compliance initiatives and maintain related documentation.
- Support the coordination of employee training, meetings, and other HR initiatives as needed.
- Assist in compiling HR metrics, reports, and compliance-related tracking.
- Act in a back-up capacity for the Executive Assistant if required.
- Maintain boardrooms and common areas and order / tend to supplies as needed.
- Other assigned duties as required.

- A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in an HR Support role (experience with payroll is considered an asset).
- Experience with payroll systems (ex. ADP, Payworks, Ceridian, etc.) is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity including the ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
