We are a market leader in manufacturing, supplying and servicing Cooler & Freezer door gaskets for commercial kitchens - e.g. restaurants, hotels, pubs, liquor stores, etc.

We are now looking to add a service technician to our team. The position requires you to inspect & install refrigerator door seals (gaskets) and occasionally other door hardware (handles, hinges, closers, etc.) for our clients across Metro Vancouver.

Familiarity with basic hand tools, a willingness to travel throughout Metro Vancouver, and a desire to help grow our business is what we are looking for. **Previous experience with commercial kitchens or refrigeration maintenance is a huge plus**

A typical day may look like:

- early morning arrival at shop in Langley, pick up materials, travel to customer list given for the day (across Metro Vancouver) to conduct inspections and installations, return to the shop when done.
- Inspections simply involve measuring and identifying the type of gasket needed and looking for any other door-hardware failures that may need replacement.
- Installations of gaskets and door-related hardware - training will be provided.

**Requirements**:

- Basic hand tools experience (drills and screwdrivers).
- Basic maintenance/repair experience
- Customer service orientated with a working command of the English language.
- Business mindset - willingness to seek out opportunities to increase revenue and network with on-site managers.
- Organized, self-motivated, and honest
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record and must be willing to travel throughout the Metro Vancouver region (vehicle provided)
- Canadian Resident/PR is a must

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
