Since 2015, FARM has been providing safe access to cannabis in a discreet and professional environment remaining client focused and service minded in a high volume retail setting. The FARM inventory team is responsible for all receiving and processing of all incoming products as well as the management of all standing inventory in-store. The Assistant Inventory Manager provides support and training to all members of the Inventory Team; ensuring the loss prevention and inventory control strategy, execution, and development.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Report directly to the Store Manager and works collaboratively with the Inventory team.
- Train and develop the inventory team utilizing up to date standardized operating procedures and FARM management tools.
- Boost team morale and inspire a culture of service and learning.
- Drive performance through monitoring, planning, coaching, and appraising team results.
- In partnership with the Store Manager and HR, assist with the hiring, firing, and corrective actions of the FARM Inventory Team
- Maintain knowledge of each product within the complete range of new and current products available for purchase in store.
- Input purchase requests in collaboration with FARM Senior Inventory Team.
- Lead the team with receiving product physically and inputting into POS/IMS system.
- Assess inventory levels through inventory management system reports to formulate daily priorities and communicate with marketing and front of house teams.
- Daily/weekly auditing of inventory, all locations, based on inventory audit schedule.
- Generate reports from Inventory Management System:

- Collaboratively working with FOH Team to ensure par levels (till drawer configuration) and professional merchandising is accomplished.
- Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- Intimate working knowledge of the most recently updated BC Cannabis Retail Store Terms and Conditions handbook required.
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems, Word, and Excel
- Strong communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Works well in high volume, high level of care, retail environment
- Significant cannabis knowledge and passion required
- Education Requirement of post-secondary degree preferred
- BC Cannabis Worker Qualification and Selling it Right required
- Experience with proactive loss prevention methodologies
- WHMIS certification and WorkSafe BC experience an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
