The Lobby Restaurant provides a sincere, upbeat, efficient, professional, and caring service to every guest that enters the room.
We are looking for a charismatic Expo/Food Runner to compliment and elevate our front of house guest experience in one of the most beautiful locations on the North Shore.
**Who you are**:
You are all about creating memorable experiences. As the first point of contact, you are setting the scene for what's to come, so you aim to make every guest feel important and comfortable at the same time. You have excellent customer service skills that come naturally to you because of your genuine positive, can-do attitude. You are observant with a high attention to detail so you can manage your time and problems with ease. Above all, you love what you do, and it shows

**Responsibilities**:
Assist in food presentation to tables, ensuring timely delivery of dishes to guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and communication.
Uphold food safety standards and handle food items
**Position requirements**:
At least 1 year in a customer facing role, preferably in a food and beverage environment
Experience with Open Table or similar online restaurant reservations systems an asset
Proven ability to work as part of a team with effective communication skills
Able to work in standing position for extended periods of time
Be a self-starter to stay organized, tidy and disciplined in managing reservations/walk-in guests
**Schedule and availability**:
This is a part time position with advancement opportunities
Availability required for Friday evenings, and all day Saturdays and Sundays.
Shifts are typically 4 hours ranging from 9am-1pm and 4.30pm-8.30pm.
**Salary**: From $18.77 per hour
