**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Utilize sales skills to explain product specifications and answer customer inquiries.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Suggesting products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items to add on.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to assist customers effectively.
- Connect with customers on phone for phone sales and cold calling.
- Take online courses as offered in sales, floral and marketing.
- Cleaning, processing flowers and janitorial duties as needed.
- Have a valid driver's license for floral delivery.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must have a clean criminal record.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computers is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in organizational skills to manage time, inventory and merchandising effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone. Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
