The position is for a pharmacy assistant for a Pharmacy in Beaverton, Ontario

Job Type**:Ongoing**

Pharmacy clerk must be considerate of the retail nature of this position, hence, they must be **friendly, **have **good communication skills**, and confidence. Experience, while an asset, is _not_ _required _for this position, training will be provided.

Day to day tasks would mainly involve three categories:
**(1) pharmaceutical-based tasks** such as:

- preparing and labelling meds (including counting and processing prescriptions on the **computer** system)
- checking expiry dates

**(2) customer service** tasks such as:

- answering phone calls
- greeting patients

**(3) routine retail tasks** such as:

- helping with inventory
- receiving orders & pricing merchandise
- general cleaning of shelves and pharmacy upkeep

The position is part to full time **. **Experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
