**The Role**
- The Transportation Coordinator role will_ oversee the transportation logistics and ensure products are delivered on time while adhering to all government regulations and rules. Primary duties will include analyzing delivery costs and recommending more cost-effective methods of transportation, negotiating contracts with outside transportation companies, assign drivers to routes, handle customer complaints, and investigate delivery issues._

**Your Impact**
- Transportation coordinators oversee the timely delivery of goods.
- Maintains and reviews delivery schedules and tracks deliveries to ensure deliveries are met.
- Updates and provides tracking information to customers as well as to internal managers.
- Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or licensing issues.
- Ensure correct estimates in transport planning system.
- Analyze delivery costs and recommended more cost-effective methods of transportation.
- Assist with Negotiating contracts (short or long term) with outside transportation companies.
- Assign drivers to routes, handle customer complaints, and investigate delivery issues.
- Maintains proper and accurate Pre-Shipment and Post-shipment Administration
- Track and Trace
- Proof of Delivery
- Over, short, and damaged shipment issues
- Evaluates, records, and responds to additional/special service requests (i.e. inside delivery, etc.)
- Work with transportation providers and freight payment team to ensure proper accessorial cost and flows
- Handles claims for damage and loss claims
- Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues
- Weekly CHEP ledger reconciliations
- Other Duties as assigned in adherence to the JVF GMP policies

**About You**
- _ You have minimum 3 years of experience working as a transportation coordinator._
- _ Genuine passion for continuous learning and development_
- _ Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions._
- _ Experience in food manufacturing_
- _ Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent_
