We are in search of an individual with a valid AZ licence (with at least 3 years AZ driving experience) to drive a tractor and 53’ reefer trailer to deliver lettuce to distribution centers. You will start in Barrie, load your trailer, and drive to the GTA for 1 or 2 Distribution Centers, then return to Barrie. This job does run 7 days a week, of which you will work approximately 2-3 (but that is flexible) the time of your shift is also flexible depending on your preference (currently roughly 5am-3pm). Shift length can vary from 7-13 hours, but generally is 8-10 hours. This position is considered part time and permanent; and following a probationary period would include benefits. This position does require you to operate a forklift, but has very little lifting. Possessing forklift operation experience is an asset, but not required. This position reports to the General Manager, Finance/QA Manager & Order Desk.

This person would be responsible for operating a forklift to load their trailer, completing all pre-trip checks & other shipping paperwork, delivering the product safely to the distribution centers and waiting to be unloaded (tractors have sleeper bunk while waiting) and return to our facility.
- The ability to work with a team of people and individually
- Possess a valid AZ licence, with at least 3 years AZ operation experience, and a safe operating record
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Able to operate a forklift safely
- Be organized and self driven to ensure all product is loaded and labelled properly into the trailer
- Be flexible to changes in schedule to work various dates and times

Wage: $21-$24
