The Role

You will contribute to the overall success of the team by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.Ensures are activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you?

Provide overnight and weekend support to conduct Production code implementations, where required as well as provide post implementation support to ensure quality delivery
Leads the execution of day-to-day project and task oriented work efforts and meeting customer expectations for contracted time, cost and specification definitions
Builds and maintains solid, professional working relationships with peers within the business lines
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
Participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring and product evaluation

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

Bachelor in Computer science or 3-4+ years as a Developer for middle ware Java, Windows and/or mainframe
Development experience with IBM Mainframes (TSO, ISPF, MVS Commands, JES2 commands, FileManager, IBM Debugger)
Development experience with IBM Developer for z/OS
Knowledge working with Windows 2016 Server Configuration (FTP, Database connection)
Experience Running Windows Batch Jobs
Experience with Batch Job Monitoring
Skilled in providing technical support to various teams
Skilled in creating technical documentation, as required
Experience with Incident Management
Experience with creating automation
Some User Acceptance Testing and Production Validation experience is an asset
Skilled utilizing JIRA, Confluence and Service Now
