**Job Location**: Various locations in Edmonton, Alberta

**Wage**: $19.25 to $23.00 / hour (salary based on experience, salary increases per company policy)

**Employment terms and conditions**: Seasonal, Full-time (44 hours/week), Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and holidays may be required.

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Working under Pressure, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks

**Weight Handling**: Up to 23kg (50lbs)

**Own Tools/Equipment**:Steel-toed safety boots

**Work Site Environment**:Outdoors, dusty

**Work setting**: Landscape contractor, park and recreation sites, urban area, commercial

**Personal Suitability**:Reliability, Organized, Team player, Dependability

**Equipment and Machinery Used**:Roto-tiller, Tractor mower, Weed trimmer/edger, Lawn mowers, Shovel

**Duties**:

- Assist with landscape constructions
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
- Cut grass
- Rake and collect refuse
- Remove litter and garbage
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- Lay sod or seed
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
- Rake and spread topsoil to grade
- Install mulch and other decorative rock
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
- May drive some small equipment
