**JOB SUMMARY**:
This role will appeal to someone who has worked with mechanical and controls contractors within the construction sector or someone who has worked in the RV repair and maintenance industry. The **Technical Rep & Warranty Administrator** will be the key point of contact within GLP Canada’s network of customers and service centers providing outstanding service, support, and troubleshooting. The role will be full-time and in-person in GLP Canada’s Oakville location.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide service diagnostics assistance for troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of HVAC and RV appliances issues, remote or in person.
- Maintain excellent relationships with GLP Canada’s vendor staff.
- Provide onsite training and development for GLP Staff within their geographic area/region.
- Providing technical training for GLP Canada’s customers onsite or at their locations.
- Process warranty claims using in-house software.
- Guide customers on filling warranty claims and respecting vendors’ warranty policies.
- Process, track, and review warranty service orders in a timely manner for completion, accuracy and verified criteria for all submitted warranty claims.
- Maintain warranty claim records and archive meticulously.
- Ensure warranty claims are submitted to vendors on time utilizing vendor submission tools: online, paper forms etc. following their policies and procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of products returned for warranty.
- Support GLP staff with hands-on technical modifications on equipment when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized repair and tools area.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 10+ years’ experience in Tech Support, Technical Training or as a Field Technician
- Experience working with general contractors and mechanical contractors.
- Holds a Community College Technical Degree or Trades Certificate Education (C of Q or Red Seal, etc.)
- Minimum G2 gas license.
- Familiarity with HVAC Products service and commissioning.
- Familiarity with RV appliances such as furnaces and ACs is a differentiator.
- Valid Driver’s License
